Mike Lecka

Velotilt designs and produces human powered vehicles (HPV) made of composites, including recumbent bikes, trikes, and velomobiles for cycling enthusiasts. In addition, VelosRus makes parts that can be used by HPV do-it –yourselfers and specialized accessories for cyclist.

Master builder Mike Lecka applies his skills acquired over 15 plus years building composite experimental aircraft to now designing and building high tech HPVs. He build and flew the first Lancair aircraft registered in North Carolina and still hold the repairman’s certificate.

His award-winning VariEze was recently recognized at the Virginia Festival of Flight. Mike has logged over 1600 hours in aircraft and exercises his instrument rating whenever possible.
